Sophie Till Takes the Lead
The start of the '22-'23 season has brought many new players to our community football teams, including lots more girls! This influx of fabulous female players has required a new role at KTFC Community Trust; a Head of Girls' Football, and Sophie Till has happily taken the position. Sophie currently coaches the girl's Under 10's community team, coaches Weetabix Wildcats sessions, all alongside playing her own game in the KTFC Women's team.
"I first started playing football at Kettering Town as a child, and even now continue to play for the Kettering Town Women's team. As a coach, my goal is to provide an inclusive space where girls can play football in a safe way, make new friends, and most of all, have fun. There can be no doubt that the Lionesses have inspired the game over the 2022 summer, and it is brilliant to see the rise in the number of girls coming to play either our Weetabix Wildcats sessions or with our community girls teams. It is an exciting time for girls' football, and I am really looking forward to building on the work already done by the trust as we look to grow the girls' game even more. " - Sophie Till
It is very exciting to see what Sophie will bring to girls' football at KTFC Community Trust.
